All these serve to highlight Mandana's close adherence to the original. He measures well upto the task he undertook so zealously. Indeed the Kādambari-darpana with its commitment to the prototype and lucid style matched by pleasing ease is one of the best compendiums of Kādambarī fully worthy of the master. It has additionally the distinct merit of catering to dissiminating to one and all what was hithertofore accessible to well-equipped scholars alone.
