on various other subjects. Hemacandra was a great scholar of philosophy, logic, grammar and literature. His philosophy and logic were influenced by Akalanka. Though his work was based on the previous Jaina literature yet in many places he established his own views.
Yasovijaya of the 18th century was the last great Jaina logician. He studied navyanyāya and gave a new style to the Jaina logic. His main works are on naya and anekāntavāda. These are : Nayapradipa, Nayarahasya Nayopadeša, Jainatarkabhāṣā and Jñānabindu.
There are some other Jaina logicians of different times. They were Mallavadi, Sumati, Kumarasena, Kumaranandi, Anantavirya 1, Anantavirya II and Anantakirti. They have their own important place in the development of Jaina logic.
