· Here belong on the one hand the verses contained in Curņis and quoted in Tikās. We shall utilize the Cūrņis without exception, but in the case of the Tikās a certain selection will become inevitable. We shall include inter alia all (or almost all) Tikās written by Abhayadeva, Haribhadra, Hemacandra maladharin, Malayagiri, Santisuri, and Silanka.
Apart from this we shall in the second phase include works the importance of which could not be fully realized in the first phase.
