Thisshowsthatothermonkshaveaddedtheotherverseslater. However, themanuscriptslhaveseenwhichareallfrom 16thcenturyonwards-givemorethentwentyoneverses. One,mssNo3032ofPatancollection, hastwentythreeverseswhereasallremainingones(seelistofmsschecked)havetwentyfourverses. Nowadaystheversion withtwentyfourversesispopularanditisrecitedduringtheannualPratikramanaritual. Theonemoreandimportantreasoninbelievingthattheremusthavebeenoriginallytwentyoneversesonlyisthatthepoet'snameusuallyappearsinthelastverse. Herealso, thepoetMantunga'snameappea rsinverse No.twenty-one,whichleadsonetobelievethattheremusthavebeentwentyoneversesintheoriginalversion. Thesmaranahasbeennamedasthe'Bhayahara Stotra (therecitation whichremovesallfears)andallmainfearshavebeenenumeratedintwentyoneverses. Theotherthreeversesseemcomplimentaryandputmorestressonworshipping Parshvanatha. Thisis onemorereasontobelievethatthelastthreehavebeenaddedafterwards.. ................ 19to21. MayParshvanathawhowasnotperturbedbytheobstaclescreatedbyKamathandwhomgods, humansandcelesti alsetc., haveworshippedbethevictoriousone. ................ 22. Theonewhoknowstheeighteenlettermantra(whichishidden)inthemiddleofthis stotra),(automatically)meditate suponParshvanatha'sultimateblissfulstatemanifestedbythemantra. Thefamouseighteenlettermantraisbelievedtohavebeenincluded'inthemiddle ofthisstotra. Howeveronecanno tclearlylocateoridentifythesaidmantrainthisstotra.
