unitary, subtle form which is not different from the language-principle, śabda-tattva-brahman.39 It again appears as a diversity with main and subsidiary divisions after the creation of the universe. The Mimāņsakas, on the other hand, hold that even the divisions of the Veda are eternal, that it remains with divisions even in the event of the dissolution of the universe.
