तक और मनुष्यायु का उदय प्रारंभ से लेकर सभी गुणस्थानों में होता है। यतस्य सालादर गुणस्थान में हुआ जीव नरक गति में उत्पन्न नहीं होता, अतः उसके नरक गत्यानुपूर्वी का उदय नहीं होता। शेष कर्म प्रकृतियों का उदय मिथ्यात्वादि गुणस्थानों में अपनी-अपनी उदय व्युच्छित्ति के अन्तिम समय तक होता है।
