नीरन्धरे भवकानने परिगलत् पञ्चाश्रवाम्भोधरे, नानाकर्म- लतावितानगहने मोहान्धकारधुरे । भ्रान्तानामिह देहिनां हितकृते कारुण्यपुण्यात्मभि-
स्तीर्थेशैः प्रथितास्सुधारसकिरो रम्या गिरः पान्तु वः ||१||
1. In this dense forest of Bhavchakra, clouds of five aashravs are continuously showering. Various types of creepers of karma are lying here. Intense darkness of attachment is spread throughout the forest. For lost beings like us who are roaming in such forests, only the words of Tirthankar will protect us.
स्फुरति चेतसि भावनया विना, न विदुषामपि शान्तसुधारसः । न च सुखं कृशमप्यमुना विना, जगति मोहविषाद-विषाकुले ||२||
