anical Engineering in America. This subject is taught at our own university (Yale University, in New Haven.) and I belive your nephew could study here as well as anywhere. I have ordered to send to you the prospectus of our engineering school, which give full information about the requirements for entrance and about the course of study in the school. I have also asked to have sent to you a pamphlet which gives information about student selfhelp that is about ways in which students may earn money to suport themselves while studying. I hope that these two book. lets will give your nephew all the information he desires. If I can help further I shall be glad to do so, and if your nephew comes to this university, it would be of pleasure to me to help in any possible way.
I shall try to have my Vikrama Carite sent to you. Professor Lanman, the editor of the series in which it was published, has been out of the country for some time (all this summer) so that I have been unable to do so as yet. I have no control of the distribution of the books myself; it can only be done throu. gh the editor. I hope, however, before long to be able to have a copy sent you. with all good wishes, I am,
