आत्मानुशासन
वीतराग भगवान् की आज्ञा से ही जो तत्त्वश्रद्धान उत्पन्न होता है उसे आज्ञासम्यक्त्व कहा गया है। दर्शनमोह का उपशम होने से ग्रन्थ- श्रवण के बिना जो कल्याणकारी मोक्षमार्ग का श्रद्धान होता है उसे मार्गसम्यग्दर्शन कहते हैं। त्रेसठ शलाकापुरुषों के पुराण ( के उपदेश से जो सम्यग्दर्शन (तत्त्वश्रद्वान) उत्पन्न होता है उसे सम्यग्ज्ञान को उत्पन्न करने वाले आगमरूप समुद्र में प्रवीण गणधरदेवादि ने उपदेशसम्यग्दर्शन कहा है।

When, on subsidence (upaśama) of perception-delusion (darśanamoha), right faith (samyagdarśana) arises due to belief on the nature of substances as revealed by Lord Jina, without the study of the Scripture, it is called ājñāsamudbhava. When, on subsidence (upaśama) of perception-delusion (darśanamoha) and disinterest in worldly occupations, right faith (samyagdarsana) arises due to keen interest in the propitious path to liberation, without the study of the Scripture, it is called mārgasamudbhava. When right faith (samyagdarśana) arises on listening to the discourse on the sixty-three great personages (salākā puruşa) as detailed in the purāna, is called upadeśasamudbhava by the apostles (ganadhara) who have mastered the Scripture
