get rid of all adversities and attain the Lakşmī of liberation!
जिनसेनाचार्यपादस्मरणाधीनचेतसाम् । गुणभद्रभदन्तानां कृतिरात्मानुशासनम् ॥२६९॥
अर्थ - जिन (जिनेन्द्र) भगवान् की सेनारूप साधुओं के आचार्य-स्वरूप जो गणधर देव हैं उनके चरणों के स्मरण में चित्त को लगाने वाले एवं कल्याणकारी अनेक गुणों से संयुक्त ऐसे पूज्य आचार्यों की यह आत्मस्वरूप के विषय में शिक्षा देने वाली कृति (रचना) है। दूसरा अर्थ - श्री जिनसेनाचार्य के चरणों के स्मरण में चित्त को अर्पित करने वाले गुणभद्राचार्य की यह 'आत्मानुशासन' नामक कृति है - ग्रन्थरचना है।
The ascetics are like the army of Lord Jina, the destroyer of karma-enemies. The apostles (ganadhara) are the preceptors of the ascetics. Remembering always their pious feet, the worshipful ācārya(s), themselves possessing many propitious qualities, have crafted this composition that expounds the nature of the soul. Alternate meaning: This composition - 'Atmānuśāsana'is the work of Ācārya Guņabhadra whose heart is dedicated to the remembrance of the feet of his Preceptor, Ācārya Jinasena.
