________________ प्रवचनसार to their wrong-belief, the nature of substances otherwise than these actually are. Such men look like ascetics but are away from real asceticism; they wander in the world for infinite time experiencing the fruits of their karmas. Such false-ascetics (śramaņābhāsa) are the reality of worldly-existence (samsāratattva); there is no other form of worldly-existence (samsāra). Wrong-belief is the worldly-existence (samsāra). अजधाचारविजुत्तो जधत्थपदणिच्छिदो पसंतप्पा। अफले चिरंण जीवदि इह सो संपुण्णसामण्णो -72॥ अयथाचारवियुक्तो यथार्थपदनिश्चितो प्रशान्तात्मा । अफले चिरं न जीवति इह स संपूर्णश्रामण्यः ॥3-72॥ सामान्यार्थ - [अयथाचारवियुक्तः ] जो पुरुष मिथ्या-आचरण से रहित है, अर्थात् यथावत् स्वरूपाचरण में प्रवर्तता है [ यथार्थपदनिश्चितः ] जैसा-कुछ पदार्थों का स्वरूप है वैसा ही जिसने निश्चय श्रद्धान कर लिया है [ प्रशान्तात्मा ] और जो राग-द्वेष से रहित है ऐसा [ सः] वह पुरुष [ संपूर्णश्रामण्यः] सम्पूर्ण मुनिपदवी सहित हुआ [ इह ] इस [अफले] फल-रहित संसार में [चिरं] बहुत काल तक [न जीवति ] प्राणों को नहीं धारण करता है, थोड़े काल तक ही रहता है। The ascetic who is free from false conduct, has ascertained the nature of substances as these actually are, tranquil [rid of attachment (rāga) and aversion (dveșa)] and follows true asceticism, does not wander long in the fruitless worldly existence (samsāra).
