NRTYARATNAKOSA
Mother :
The name of the mother of Kālasena was Jasamāmbikā.
Chief Queen:
His chief queen's name was Sri-Karmavati-Lasumā (or Lakbumā) Devil. She came from the family of Nikumbha-chieftains.
We have some evidence regarding the existence of the Nikumbhaars'a. Two inscriptions of this family- one of the Slaka year 1075= 1153 A. D. of Govana - III and the other of the Saka year 1128=1206 A. D. mentioning a grant of a village to a college for the study of the works of Bhāskaräcārya, - have been published. From these two inscriptions the following pedigree is given by Bühler,
Nikumbhavamsa 1. Kļņarāja - 1 ( about 1000 A. D.) 2. Govana - I
Govind rāja
4. Govana - II
5.
Krsnarāja - II
6. Indrarāja - married Sridevi of the Sāgara race, regent after his
death, 7. Govana - III .
8. Sonhaďadeva 9. Hemādideva (S'aka 1128=1206-7 A. D.“)
From an inscription of Sonhadadeva we learn that the Nikumbhavamsa was a feudatory family of the Yādavas of Devagir The Yādava

mādevi, but in the every long Pras'asti (p.75) the name is Lukhumādevi as above. 2. A grant of a prince named Prithivivallabha-Nikumbhallas'akti of Sendraka
family was issued from Bagumra of Baroda territory on the 8th August, A.D.655 He was in charge of Lāța. See B. G. Vol. I, Part II, pp. 311 and 360. We cannot say whether this Nikumbhallas'akti has anything to do with the Nikumbba.
