இல்லையானால் குடம் இல்லை, நூல் இல்லையானால் வஸ்திரம் இல்லை , அப்படியே சைதன்யம் (Consciousness) இல்லையானால் ஜகத் இல்லை.)
सर्वोऽपि व्यवहारस्तु ब्रह्मणा क्रियते जनैः। अज्ञानान्न विजानन्ति मृदेव हि
ef4||ETT 65) People perform all their actions in and through Brahman, (but, on account of ignorance, they are not aware of that), just as, through ignorance, persons do not know that jars and other earthenwares are nothing, but earth. 65) ஜனங்களால் செய்யப்படும் எல்லா வியவஹாரமும் பிரஹ்மத்துடன்தான் செய்யப்படுகிறது. அறியாமையினால், இதை அவர்கள் உணர்வதில்லை. குடம் முதலான யாவையும் மண் தானே, அல்லவா?
कार्यकारणता नित्यमास्ते घटमृदोर्यथा । तथैव श्रुतियुक्तिभ्यां प्रपञ्चब्रह्मणोरिह ।।६६ ।। 66) Just as there ever exist the relation of cause and effect between earth and a jar, so, does the same relation exist between Brahman and the phenomenal world; this has been established here, on the strength of scriptural texts and reasoning. 66) எவ்விதம் குடம் காரியம், மண் காரணம் என்ற ஸ்திதி/நிலை தவறாமல் இருக்கின்றதோ, அப்படியே, பிரபஞ்சத்திற்கும் பிரஹ்மத்திற்கும் சம்பந்தம் என்பது வேதத்தினாலும் யுக்தியினாலும் ஸித்திக்கிறது.
गृह्यमाणे घटे यद्वन्मृत्तिका भाति वै बलात्। वीक्ष्यमाणे प्रपञ्चेऽपि ब्रह्मैवाभाति HISHTIE0TT | 67) Just as (the consciousness of) earth forces itself upon our mind, while thinking of a jar, so also, does (the idea of) ever-shining Brahman flash on us, while contemplating on the phenomenal world.
