Kashayas.
(ü) Charitra mohaniya which interferes with right conduct.
This is of the following twentyfive kinds :(a) anger, (6) pride, l of the anantanubandhi, that is, (c) deceit, [ the intensest type. (d) greed, (e) anger, o pride, ( of the apratyakhyana, or a (8) deceit, very, intense type. (h) greed, (i) anger, ) (1) pride, 1 of the pratyakhyana, that is, (k) deceit intense type.
(1) greed, (m) anger, (n) pride,
of the sanjvalana, or mild type. (o) deciet, (p) greed, ) (9) joking,
attachement or love, (s) aversion, (1) grief, (u) fear,
(V) disgust, (w) sex-passion peculiar to males, (x) sex-passion peculiar to females, and (1) sex-passion peculair to those of the neuter sex.
No-kashayas
V. The ayuḥ karma group includes four kinds of energies which control and determine the duration of life of the four kinds of beings, namely,
(i) deras (residents of heavens), (ii) human beings, (iii) lower forms of life belonging to the animal, vegetable
and mineral kingdoms, and (iv) denizens of hells.
