• The Baripada Museum and Talmul plates have padan" which is preferable.
The meaning of the passage cannot be determined. There are no doubt some errors hore. The Talmul plate has karmmohanna nayed=u põdha. [The correct reading must be ka mohani na nayed uporha pulakt-kurvain janari cheshfitaih, meaning by his deeds sending people into thrills of joy, whom may he not folhato' 1-Ed.)
