of Jayavarmant was the name of the district with its headquarters at Kudūra mentioned in the same plates and in the Amarāvati Buddhist sculpture inscription. The district was apparently named after Kudūra the modern Kūdūru in the Bandar taluk of the Kistna District; Chintapura may be identified with Chinnapuram in the Bandar taluk and Lökumārl with Lõkamudi in the Kaikalūr taluk of the same district.
