The inscription mentions the W. Châlukya kings as far as Taila III., but conveys no distinct information as to the exact relations then existing between Taila III. and Bijjala.!

(Vishu = $. 1083]: Tuesday, 12th September A.D. 1161, when the nakshatra was Rohini and the yôga Vyatîpåta.
(In lines 1-59 the inscription refers to events of the time of the W. Chalukya Jagadêkamalla II., and contains a date of the 5th year of that king's reign; see above, No. 232).
