THE INDIAN ANTIQUARY.
[APRIL, 1898.
I will now proceed to note the eridence I have as regards particular Factories along the West Coast of India, premising that information regarding the main factories of Surat, Bombay, Madras and Calcutta has been already given under the major heads of Gujarat, Bombay, Madras, and Bengal. I take the selected Factories or places from North to South thus: - Aurangabandar, abandoned in 1775, in Sindh ; Goa, Carwar, Calicut and Tellicherry, Cochin, all on the Malabar Coast; and Aujengo and Onor further South in Travancore.
F. - Aurangabandar.
