In S. 1110 current, which by the southern luni-solar system was Plavanga, the Uttarayaņa-samkranti took place 19 h. 25 m. after mean sunrise of Friday, 25th December, A.D. 1187, during the 10th tithi of the dark half, which ended 15 h. 5 m. after mean sunrise of Saturday, 26th December, A. D. 1187.
