2. According to Mr. Bendall in Jour. Roy. As. Soc., N.S., Vol. XX. p. 552, a British Museum MS. of 'Sridhara's Commentary on Bk. X. of the Bhagavata-Purána is dated -
“in the 317th year of Lakshmana era, Chaitra-sudi pratipad Gurau dine," i.e. on the first day of the bright half of Chaitra of the Lakshmanasena year 317, on a Thursday.'
