१६२. पंचुंवरसहियाई, सत्त वि विसणाई जो विवज्जेइ ।
सम्मत्तविसुद्धमई, सो दंसणसावओ भणिओ || ४ ||
जिसकी मति सम्यग्दर्शन से विशुद्ध हो गयी है वह व्यक्ति पाँच उदुम्बर फल-सहित सात व्यसनों का त्याग करने से दार्शनिक श्रावक कहा जाता है ।
૧૬૨. જેતી મતિ સમ્યગ્દર્શતથી વિશુદ્ધ થઈ છે તેવી વ્યક્તિ પાંચ ઉંદુંબર ફળ સહિત, સાત વ્યસનોનો ત્યાગ કરવાથી દાર્શતિક શ્રાવક કહેવાય છે.
162. That person whose senses are purified with right perception is considered true householder (Shravak) if he gets rid of seven vices (addictions) including consumption of five 'udumber' fruits.
१६३. इत्थी जूयं मज्जं, मिगव्व वयणे तहा फरुसया य । दंडफरुसत्तमत्थस्स, दूस सत्त वसा ॥५॥
स्त्री, जुआ, शराब, शिकार, वचन - परुषता, कठोर दण्ड तथा अर्थ-दूषण (चोरी आदि) ये सात व्यसन हैं ।
993. परस्त्रीगमन, दुगार, शराज, शिअर, मांसाहार, वेश्यागमन તથા ચોરી આ સાત વ્યસત છે.
