non-violence. Renunciation of love and hatred is the mother of non-violence.
The Jain philosophy has done many subtle observations about hoarding. The hoarding becomes a crime only when it has strong sense of ownership, attachment and injudicious enjoyment. When non-hoarding is put into prectice with faith, the ideal of socialism is respected. The teachers of Jainism put emphasis on sacrificing nine kinds of externals like gold, silver, etc. and sixteen types of internal hoardings like anger, honour, etc.
The opinion of the other person can also be true, and we should see any thought or opinion of others from all the sides. The Jain philosophy has explained one beautiful story through Anekantvad. If a man leaving aside his own point of view looks from the other man's point of view, half the world gets cool and pacified. If mother and son, husband and wife, the mother-in-law and the daughter-in-law, the master and the servant, the workers of two parties, the public and the leader, the government and the people, the officer and the staff, two provinces or two nations look to each and every event from the point of view of Anekantvad, the majority of problems will be solved. The Jain Dharma has explained the principles of being generous and tolerant to others by the principle of toleration to others. The implementation of Anekantvad is the root-base of world peace. Forgiving :
The last day of the Paryushana Parva of the Jain religion is the holy occasion of Samvatsaric forgiving'. The attitude of forgiving implies the feeling of repentance. This is the occasion to ask to forgive after confessing our mistake and forgiving others by not caring for the mistakes of others.
