Having leard Issa, the priests and the learned elders decided among themselves not to judge him for le did no evil to anyone, and presenting thicinsclvcs bcforc Pilate, the Governor of Jerusalem, chosen by the heathen King of the country of Romulus, they addressed him thus:

- 4 The Governor became violently enraged and sent his servants in disguise to spy after Issa and to report to the authorities every word that he addressed to the people.
