These books were highly appreciated by the receivers and now it is the proud privilege for WJC to put before the Jain community the rare books of Virchand Raghavji Gandhi and also celebrate the occasion of the release of Virchand Gandhi stamp and First Day Cover.
It was decided to re-print the five out-of-print books authored by Virchand Gandhi after consultation with well-known man of literature and Jain thinker Padmashri Dr. Kumarpal Desai. These five volumes include his 'The Yoga Philosophy and 'Concentration'. It was also decided to publish the 'Unknown life of Jesus Christ', which was translated from the French and edited with an introduction and illustrations by Virchand Gandhi, alongwith his selected speeches, and his biography in Gujarati and English. In the Gujarati biography, his essay on the despicable practices such a breast-beating prolonged mourning etc has been included.
In the present volume, an attempt has been made in the comprehensive preface, to highlight some of the prominent features of the book. It comprises the brief biography of Virchand Gandhi, details about his works and the reference materials published so far. Thus the present edition contains all the latest information, besides giving a profile of the multifaceted genius of Virchand Raghavaji Gandhi
