Then having thought, 'Alas! the sage will be maltreated!' they signed him to go away quickly. Having then disregarded them and feigning deafness, he cried the religious benedition with loud voice. In the meantime, on hearing the sound of the religious benediction, the princes, with their lotuslike faces gladdened, came from the terrace of the mansion, The door was closed. They bowed to the recluse very fervently. He gave them the religious benediction. They said, "O recluse, dance,' " He said, "How am I to dance without song and music?" The princes said, "We shall do song and music.”
