छन्दोदर्शनम
छन्दोनिबन्धनक्लप्तेन स्वेन सत्त्वेन वाचा वस्तुतत्त्वेन स्ववाचकशक्त्या छन्दस्वती वाङ्मुखेन सत्यमेव दिशति सर्वं यथार्थमेवोपदिशति दर्शयति च वस्तु-विषयादिकं धर्म-ज्ञानादिकं च सतत्त्वं बोधयतीति भावः ॥
तथा सत्येनैव याथार्येनैव तत्त्वेन स्वानुभावसिद्धेन तत् पूर्ण सत्यं परमं ब्रह्मात्मादिवस्तुसत्त्वं अनुभावयति तदनुभावपर्यन्तं प्रेरयति प्रणयति इति भावः ॥ तदेव परमं ज्योतिः विश्वस्य सर्वस्यैवास्य तत्त्वस्य तथा तत्तात्त्विकवस्तुसत्त्वस्य दर्शयत् प्रति प्रकाशयत् परमं सत्य वस्तु इति । तत्परञ्ज्योतिःस्वरूपात्मक एव सः ब्रह्मणस्पतिर्भवतीति ॥
एवमेतेन छन्दोदर्शनमुखेन ऋषिग्यं दर्शयति स्वानुभावसिद्धं सत्यं वस्तुतत्त्वम् सर्ववस्तु तत्त्वविज्ञानार्थं छन्दोमुखेन धीयोगेन शरण्यः स ब्रह्मणस्पतिरेव समुपास्यतामिति ॥
॥ इति तृतीयेऽनुवाके षष्ठं ब्रह्मणस्पतिसूक्तम् समाप्तम् || || इति ब्राह्मणस्पत्यः तृतीयोऽनुवाकः सम्पूर्णः॥
COMMENTARY_SUMMARY TRANSLATION Brahmaņaspati is Himself pure Truth. He is full and perfect by His intelligent energy. He points the way to Truth and through Vak in the form of Vedic mantras. He causes all to realise the Truth and actually experience it by and through the light of His intelligence. That light has the power to illuminate everything in the universe.
Thus, through Chhando-Darsana, this Seer conveys that for the understanding of Truth which underlies everything, Brahmapspati is to be meditated upon constantly and prayed for through Vedas and the Yoga of intellect.
Thus ends the Sixth hymn in the Third Section. Thus ends the Third Section dedicated to Brahmanaspati.
