125 पदपाठ :- सरस्वति । त्वम् । आत्मानम् । अनु । प्रत्यञ्चम् ।
स्फुरसि । अहम्ऽचिता । प्रऽकेतुना । धिया ॥ इयं । अन्तरिति। अनु । स्वरन्ती । परां । आत्मन् ।
वाक् । विदा । मिथुनं । हृदा । आत्मनः । आधे । अरम् ॥ Oh Sarasvati ! you enter the introvert Ātman who is in the heart of all, and you are the inspirer of the self-consciousness of the individual, on account of your power of intelligence. Oh Vak, by your power of consciousness, you are identified with the heart like a veritable couple.
अन्वयभाष्यम्। हे सरस्वति ! त्वं प्रत्यञ्चं अन्तरात्मानं चेतनसत्त्वं सर्वान्तरं अनुसृत्य प्रकेतुना प्रज्ञानेन धिया च सर्वेषां प्राणभृतां अन्तःशरीरे हृदये अहञ्चिता अहमिति चेतनेन सत्प्रत्ययेन स्फुरसि, अत्र अन्तरात्मनः अहं अस्मीति स्फुरणमेव वाचः मूलं परमं सत्त्वस्वरूपमिति भावः, तमिमं स्वात्मानं अनुसृत्य स्वरन्ती आत्मनि अन्त: विदा संविद्रूपेण गुप्ता सा परा वागेव हृदयेन तद्भावेन सम्मिलितं अध्यात्मकं पूर्ण मिथुनमिति ॥
COMMENTARY-SUMMARY TRANSLATION Oh Sarasvati ! having entered the inward-looking soul who is in all, you with knowledge and intellect, become the cause of the I-consciousness. Here, it is meant that the very self-consciousness of the individual is certainly due to the existence of Vāk. It is because of the power of speech that each person is able to say ‘T'. The invisible Vak is the equivalent of Ātman and they are one like mates.
चतुर्थी ऋक् । सरस्वति त्वं संविदा चेतमाना समृताऽऽत्मानं स्वमर्नु वक्षि सत्यम् | वाचमेवानु द्योततेऽध्ययमात्मा
वाग विदा मिथुनं हृदाऽऽत्मनोऽध्यरम् ॥ ४ ॥ पदपाठ :- सरस्वति । त्वम् । सम्ऽविदा । चेतमाना ।
