________________ LXXVIII: PANCALINGĪPRAKARANAṀ 5. A treatise called 'Pramanalaksya' or 'Pramāṇalaksana', containing elemental discussion in accordance with Jaina philosophy. 6. 'Kathakosaprakarana Vritti', a commentary on Kathakosaprakaraṇa. Besides these works Jinesvarasūri had also authored an 18000 verse long book, which was in the form of an edited compilation (treasure) of religious stories (Katha-kosa prakarana), by the title 'Nirvāņa Līlāvati Kathā', which is no longer available except its short abridged Samskṛt version by a later scholar. Jinesvarasūri's Lineage and Following: It is clear that Jinesvarasuri's guru was Acarya Varddhamansuri, a learned and influential master of the time. His disciple following was also considerable. His prominent and learned disciples were: Jinacandrasūri, Abhayadevasūri, Dhanesvarasūri, Haribhadra-sū ri (other than Yakinisūnu Haribhadrasūri), Prasannacandra, Dharmadevagani, Sahadevagani, Sumatigani, etc.' The Passing away of Acārya Jineśvarasūri : The exact date of Acarya Jinesvarasūri's death is not known, but his two works 'Kathākosaprakaraṇa vrtti' (circa 1108 V.E.) and 'Caityavandan Vivarana vṛtti' (circa 1112 V.E.) are available, Therefore, it can be assumed that he must have passed away 1 Ibid, p. 35.
