________________ “Dear Son ! We may not perhaps agree that food is inevitable for the nourshment of the body, but for a monk, in order to maintain Self-Control only, food is necessary. I advise that this time also you should grant the request of Gunsen.” Agnisharma gave his consent. Gunsen was moved emotionally. He could not speak for a moment. Acharya Kaundinya said to Gunsen : “King ! To an ascetic nobody is his own or nobody is Other's. He is the supreme ruler of 'Samsara.' They are parents to the the people of the world. Parents do not take seriously the flaws and faults of their children. So you please remove from your mind altogether that you have displeased an ascetic." Getting such consolation from Kaundinya, the King Gunsen returned to his palace.
