Dhandey learnt the Mantra. Wandering here and there he reached Shravasti city. Still the ill-luck had not left him. As soon as he entered the city, he was arrested by the guards of the city. Because he had the garland of jewels. He was brought before king Virdhaval.
The guards said:
"Your highness! The murderer of princess Ratnavali has been found out. This is the theif of the garland. He has got that garland with him.”
The king became angry and rebuked him:
