order. His Rāmāyana is a testimony to his art of story-telling. Again, he does not slavishly imitate his predecessor as we have demonstrated before. He reveals his artistic and dramatic skill by introducing the drawing of Ravana in a picture by Sita. This picture- incident has been later on incorporated in their works by many poets. One may not appreciate the didactic method of the poet. But unquestionably he is a story-teller of a high rank.
