________________ 414 TILAKAMAÑJART OF DHANAPĀLA _ 'इन्द्रजालिक इव मायाप्रगल्भः" refers to the professional juggler taking to the feats of juggling by mesmerism. The articles of trade? such a Manaḥsila (Arsenic), Haritāla (yelloworpiment), jātarūpa (gold), Durvarņa (silver), sulva (copper), Rīti (Pittala), vanga (trapu i.e. tin), Nāga (Sisaka i.e. lead), Kankādiloha (iron ores), Aśmasāra (iron or Steel), Sparsa (a variety of gem), Padmarāga (ruby), Ks udropala (thin slates), Rasasamūha (Mercury and other liquid substances), Śatadhāra (diamond) have been mentioned as occurring in the forest range between Ekaśộnga and Vaitādhya mountains. पान्थतण्डुलप्रस्थम्पचैः प्रतिगर्तमावर्तिनाक्कथनेन कथ्यमानप्रकृतिभिर्दहनोदकैः' refers to Prastha as a measure of weight in case of rice. The sylvan terrain had naturally boiling waters in which the Prastha weight of rice could easily be boiled by the travellers. 'बालपर्णशालासु परशुदात्रशस्त्रिकादीन्युपकरणान्यन्वेषयन्तीम्। refers to the agricultural implements such as an axe, sickle and the scythe.
