"सततगहव्यापारनिषण्णमानसाभिनिसर्गतो गुरुवचनानुरागिणीभिरनुल्वणोज्ज्वलवेषाभिः स्वकुलाचारकौशलशालिनीभिः शालीनतया सकमारतया च कचकुम्भयोरपि कदर्थ्यमानाभिरुद्धत्या मणिभूषणानामपि खिद्यमानाभिर्मुखरतया रतेष्वपि ताम्यन्तीभिवैयात्यपरिग्रहेण स्वप्नेऽप्यलंघयन्तीभिरितोरणमंगीकृतसतीव्रताभिरप्यसतीव्रताभिरलसाभिनितम्बभारवहने तुच्छाभिरुदरे तरलाभिश्चक्षुषि कुटिलाभिर्भुवोरतृप्ताभिरंगशोभायामुद्धताभिस्तारुण्ये कृतकुंसगाभिश्चरणयोर्न स्वभावे कोपेऽप्यदृष्टमुखविकाराभिय॑लीकेऽप्यनुज्झितविनयाभिः खेदेऽप्यखण्डितोचितप्रतिपत्तिभिः कलहेऽप्यनिष्ठुरभाषिणीभिः सकलपुरुषार्थसिद्धिभिरिव शरीरबद्धाभिरलंकृता वधूमिः।''
Ayodhyā ornamented by the house wives who were always having their minds concentrated on household chores etc. has Arthāpatti, Virodhābhāsa, a Samkara of Parisamkhyā and Ullekha, Viseşokti and Utpreksā.
"पादशोभयाऽपि न्यक्कतपद्माभिरुरूश्रियाऽपि लघूकृतरम्भास्तम्भाभि¥र्योऽपि च्छायया सौभाग्यहेतोरुपासिताभिः......विलासिनीभिर्वितीर्णत्रिभुवनजिगीषुकुसुमसायकसाहायका" contains Virodhābhāsa in it with slesa and Upamā playing adjunct to it.
"अकलिताढ्यानाढ्यविवेकैरगृहीतपण्डितापण्डितविभक्तिभिरनवबुद्धसाध्वसाधुविशेषैरनवधारितधार्मिकाधा र्मिकपरिच्छित्तिभिः सर्वैरप्युदारविशेषः सर्वैरपि छेकोक्तिकोविदैः सर्वैरपि परोपकारप्रवणैः सर्वैरपि सन्मार्ग वर्तिभिः.... प्रमाणविद्भिरप्यप्रमाणविद्यैः अधीतनीतिभिरप्यकुटिलैः अभ्यस्तनाट्यशास्त्रैरप्यदर्शितभ्रूनेत्रविकारैः कामसूत्रपारगैरप्यविदितवैशिकैः सर्वभाषाविचक्षणैरप्यशिक्षितलाटोक्तिभिः सात्विकैरपि राजस भावाप्तख्यातिभि:.... निवासिलोकैः संकुला''
contains slesamülakārthāpatti along with Virodhābhāsa. The inhabitants of Ayodhyā had no discrimination between the rich and the poor. It automatically implies that they were all amply affluent. Punningly. They had not understood the circumspection about both rich as well as the poor. They did not understand the distinction between the learned and the illiterate. It automatically implies that all were learned, Punningly They had undergone the division among the learned and the illiterate. This is slesa
mulakārthāpatti ''प्रमाणविद्भिरप्यप्रमाणविद्यैः" has Virodhābhāsa in so far as the citizens knew logic and yet could produce no syllogistic instance. The apparent incongruity is removed by construing 'अप्रमाणविद्यैः — to mean. They were possessed of illimitable knowledge__ "विरचितालकेव मखानलधूमकोटिभि: स्पष्टितांजनतिलकबिन्दुरिव बालोद्यानैः, आविष्कृतविलाससहासेव दन्तवलभीभिः, आगृहीतदर्पणेव सरोभिः सकृतयुगेव सत्पुरुषव्यवहारैः, समकरध्वजराज्येव पुरन्ध्रिबिव्वोकैः सब्रह्मलोकेव द्विजसमाजैः..."
