(Arihantas), bodyless pure and perfect souls (Siddhas), heads of orders of saints (Achāryas), preceptors (Uppādyāyas) and saints (Sadhus); where ever they are present. These supreme beings are worshippable by the living beings of all the three universes.
मोहादि-सर्व-दोषारि-घातकेभ्यः सदा हत-रजोभ्यः, विरहित-रहस्-कृतेभ्यः पूजाहेभ्यो पूजार्हेभ्यो नमोऽर्हद्भ्यः ।।5।।
(मोह-आदि-सर्व-दोष-अरि-घातकेभ्यः) मोह आदि अर्थात् राग-द्वेष-क्रोधादि अथवा दर्शनमोह व चारित्रमोह आदि व सर्व दोष - 18 दोषों रूपी शत्रुओं का क्षय करने वाले, (हत-रजोभ्यः) ज्ञानावरण-दर्शनावरण कर्मरज को नष्ट करने वाले व (विरहित-रहस्कृतेभ्यः) नष्ट कर दिया है अन्तराय कर्म को जिन्होंने; ऐसे (पूजा अर्हेभ्यः) पूजा के योग्य (अर्हभ्दयः) अरहंत परमेष्ठी के लिये (सदा नमः) सर्वकाल नमस्कार हो।
I always pay my obeisance to worshippable pure and perfect souls with body (Arihantas); who have completely destroyed all the enemies (of soul) inclusive of delusion, attachment, aversion and all other faults and removed the dust of all karmas inclusive of the dust of obstructive karmas.
क्षात्यार्जवादि-गुणगण-सुसाधनं सकल-लोक-हित-हेतुम् । शुभ-धामनि धातारं वन्दे धर्मं जिनेन्द्रोक्तम्।।6।।
(क्षान्ति-आर्जव-आदि गुण-गण-सु साधन) जो उत्तम क्षमा, सरलता आदि गुण समूह की प्राप्ति का उत्तम साधन है, (सकल-लोक-हित-हेतुम्) सम्पूर्ण लोक के जीवों के हित का कारण है, (शुभ-धामनि) स्वर्ग-मोक्ष रूप उत्तम स्थानों में (धातार) धरने वाला है; उस (जिनेन्द्र-उत्तम्) जिनेन्द्र देव के द्वारा कहे गये (धम) धर्म को (वन्दे) नमस्कार करता हूँ।
I pay obeisance to true religion pronounced by shri Jineņdra deva, which is an excellent means of attaining fine attributes such as supreme forgiveness, supreme stateness etc.; which is the cause of the well being of the living being of whole universe and which carry mundane souls to heavens and abode of Siddhas.
