the demands by mear ask once. Now the time has come when I pray for the return/consideration of that service done by me. Hence I (most humbly and respectfully) pray that at the end of my life, when my soul be leaving my body, my neck be not chocked and may it remain capable to utter the letters constituting your name.
तवपादौ मम् हृदय मम हृदयं तव पदद्वये लीनम्। तिष्ठतु जिनेन्द्र! तावद्यावन्निर्वाण संप्राप्तिः।। 7।।
हे देवाधिदेव जिनेन्द्र! मुझे जब तक निर्वाणपद की प्राप्ति हो, तब तक आपके दोनों चरण-कमल मेरे हृदय में स्थित हो तथा मेरा हृदय आपके चरणों में ही स्थित रहे। अर्थात् मुक्ति की प्राप्ति पर्यन्त मैं आपका ही ध्यान करता रहूँ, बस यही प्रार्थना है।
O Jinendra dev! so long as I do not attain salvation your feet be installed in my heart and my heart be immersed in (stationed in) your feet.
एकापि समर्थेयं, जिनभक्ति-दुर्गतिं निवारयितुम्। पुण्यानि च पूरयितुं, दातुं मुक्तिश्रियं कृतिनः।।8।।
केवल एक जिनेन्द्र-भक्ति ही जीव को नरक-तिर्यंच रूप अशुभ गतियों से बचाने के लिये, तीर्थंकर, चक्रवर्ती, देवेन्द्र जैसे महापुण्यों को पूर्ण करने तथा मुक्ति लक्ष्मी को प्राप्त कराने में पर्याप्त है। अर्थात् एक ही जिनभक्ति समस्त स्वर्ग-मोक्ष सुखों को देने में समर्थ है।
Devotion to Jina is alone capable (competent) to stop the movement of soul to lower grades of life, to fulfill soul with virtues (virtuous karmic bondage) and to enable a devotee to woo the goddess of salvation.
पञ्चअरिंजयणामे पत्रच, य मदि-सायरे जिणे वन्दे। पत्रच जयोसयरणामे, पत्रचय सीमंदरे वन्दे ।।७।।
पाँच मेरू संबंधी अरिंजय नाम के पाँच, मतिसागर नाम के पाँच, यशोधर नाम के पाँच तथा सीमंधर नाम के पाँच ऐसे बीस तीर्थंकरों की वन्दना करता हूँ।
