हो जाता है; (तद्वत्) उसी प्रकार (ते) आपके (चरणारुणाम्बुज-युगः) दोनों चरण कमलों की (स्तोत्र - उन्मुखाना) स्तुति के सन्मुख जीवों के (विघ्नाः) समस्त / नाना प्रकार के विघ्न (च) और (कायः विनायकाः) शारीरिक बाधाएं - पीड़ाएं या शरीर सम्बन्धी रोग आदि (सहसा ) शीघ्र ही ( शाम्यन्ति ) शान्त हो जाते हैं; (अहो ! विस्मयः) यह अत्यधिक आश्चर्य की बात है ।
It is really strange that those who devotionally pray/ eulogies the pair of your lotus feat, instantaneously get their complicated physical ailments cured and difficulties overwon; in the same manner in which the evil effects of the total poisoning by angry-cobra-bites (or snake-bites) are eliminated/uprooted by means of magical spells, concerned medicines and sacrificial-oblations (Hawan) etc.
सन्तप्तोत्तम काञ्चन क्षितिधर श्री स्पर्द्धि गौरद्युते, पुंसां त्वच्चरणप्रणाम करणात्पीडाः प्रयान्तिक्षयं । उद्यदभास्कर विस्फुरत्कर शतव्याघात निष्कासिता, नाना देहि विलोचन - द्युतिहरा शीघ्रं यथा शर्वरी । 13 ।।
(संतप्त उत्तम - काञ्चन- क्षितिधर श्री - स्पर्द्धि-गौरद्युते !) तपाये हुए उत्तम स्वर्ण के पर्वत की शोभा के साथ ईर्ष्या करने वाली पीत कान्ति से युक्त, हे शान्ति जिनेन्द्र ! ( त्वत् चरण प्रणाम करणात् ) आपके चरणों में प्रणाम करने से (पुंसां ) जीवों की ( पीड़ा:) पीड़ा उसी तरह (क्षयं प्रयान्ति) क्षय को प्राप्त होती है; (यथा) जिस प्रकार ( उद्यद् भास्कर - विस्फुरत् कर शत व्याघात- निष्कासिता) उदय को प्राप्त सूर्य की दैदीप्यमान सैकड़ों किरणों के आघात से निकली हुई ( नाना- देहि-विलोचन - द्युतिहरा ) अनेक प्राणियों के नेत्रों की कान्ति को हरने वाली (शर्वरी ) रात्रि (शीघ्रं क्षयं प्रयाति) शीघ्र ही क्षय को प्राप्त हो जाती है।
O lord! The lustre of your body is like that of the extremely heated mount of gold (Sumeru-Parvat). O Jinendra! the distresses (or miseries) of the people are eliminated, as a consequence of the obeisance to and adoration of your feet: in the same manner, in which the dark light that destroys the visibility, power and lustre of various creatures is forcefully expelled by the radiation of the thousands of rays of the rising sun.
