The author begins with the mention of the infinite powers of Soul. The reader. might have already gathered from the foregoing chapters that Soul is naturally endowed with perfect knowledge, perfect perception and perfect conduct. Every individual soul possesses potentially full capacity to know all things unlimited by time and space. When the kārmic forces are destroyed by unshakable renunciation ( Vairāgya ) and continued meditative practices, the soul acquires high powers ( Siddhis ) capable of bestowing immense wealth, happiness and extraordinary greatness.
