SPIRITUAL LIGHT. દંભ કરવાને કયાં પ્રસંગ નથી
પરમપુએ એકાન્તથી કઈ બાબતની અનુમતિ, તેમ નિષેધ કર્યો નથી. તે અપવાદના પ્રસંગે કઈ તેવું કાર્ય કરવું પડે, તે તેમાં દંભવૃત્તિ રાખવી ન જોઈએ. પરમાત્માને જ્યારે ખાસ અપવાદની જગ્યાએ અપવાદ સેવવાને નિષેધ નથી, તે પછી ડર શાને કે જેથી દંભ સેવ જોઈએ ?.”-૬૦
परप्रतारणं स्वप्रतारणे पर्यवस्यतिअहो ! समालम्ब्य बकवृत्तिं प्रवञ्चकैर्वञ्च्यत एष लोकः। परन्त्वमीभिः प्रविचारणीयं प्रवश्चितः स्याद् निजचेतनोऽपि ॥३१॥
Alas ! the world is cheated by fraudulent persons resorting to crane-methods, but on the contrary they should think whether they themselves are not deceived thereby. ( 61 ) પરને ઠગવું એ પિતાને ઠગે છે –
“અહા ! બગલાની વૃત્તિ ધારણ કરી બેઠેલા ઠગારાઓ આ જગતને ખૂબ ઠગી રહ્યા છે; પણ એઓએ વિચારવું જોઈએ કે બીજાઓને ઠગતાં પિતાને આત્મા પણ સાથે ઠગાઈ જ જાય છે.”—૬૧ मायाप्रबन्धमुपसंहरतिनिःशल्यभावव्रतपालनस्यो-पदेशधारां ददिरे मुनीन्द्राः । एवं हि योगैकपदीप्रवेशः, कि भूरिणा, शास्त्ररहस्यमत्र ॥ १२ ॥
The best sages have preached instructions for strictly observing the vows with purest motives purged of hypocrisy. It is the only way which securės one an admission on the path of Yoga. This entirely embodies the secret of scriptures. What more could be said or what is the use of speaking further ? ( 62 )
