on untroubled through it. So one who understands the true nature of worldly happiness which is miragelike enjoys it and attains the final beatitude as well. ( 121 )

“ માયાજળને ( દૂરથી જળ રૂપે દેખાતા ઝાંઝવાને ) સત્ય દૃષ્ટિથી, એટલે કે આ વાસ્તવમાં પાણી નથી, કિન્તુ સ્થળ છે' એ પ્રકારે દેખતા મનુષ્ય જેવી રીતે વિના ઉદ્વેગે એની વચ્ચેથી–એ રસ્તાના મધ્યમાંથી શીઘ્ર ચાલ્યેા જાય છે, તેવી રીતે આ દૃષ્ટિવાળા ભાગાને પણ માયાજળની જેમ જોતે-અસાર કાલ્પનિક આભિમાનિક સુખરૂપે દેખતા ભાગાના રસ્તેથી ચાલવા છતાં પણ મેક્ષને મેળવી શકે છે”—૧૨૧.
न धर्मशक्ति प्रबलाममुप्यां भोगंस्य शक्तिः क्षमते विहन्तुम् । दीपापो गन्धवहो ज्वलन्तं दवानलं नेतुमलं शमं किम् ? ॥ १२२ ॥
Worldly pleasures cannot get the better of the religious attitude, while under this aspect. Is it possible for the wind which puts out a lamp to annihilate the forest confiagration ? ( 122 )

આ દૃષ્ટિમાં ધર્મ શક્તિ એવી પ્રબળ હાય છે કે તેને નિલ ભાગ–શક્તિ હણવા સમર્થ થઇ શક્તિ નથી. દીપને મુઝાવી નાંખનાર પવન શું જાજ્વલ્યમાન દાવાનળને ઠંડા પાડી શકે ખરા ? ” ૧૨૨
मीमांसना दीपिका समाना मोहान्धकारक्षपणेऽत्र भाति । 'स्वप्रकाशप्रसरेण तेनाऽसमंजसस्याऽपि कुतः प्रचारः ? ॥ १२३ ॥
Analysis is a lamp for dispelling the darkness of ignorance. With the spread of true knowledge, and thereby there is no room for irrational talk. (123)
