SPIRITUAL LIGH'T.
Whatever happiness is conceived to exist in the enjoyment of worldly pleasures is nothing but misery, because it is produced by the Karmic forces, transitory, full of misery, and of less value. ( 42 )
સ'સારનુ સુખ દુઃખ છે—
સંસારના ભાગેામાં જે સુખ અનુભવાય છે, તે સુખ વસ્તુતઃ દુઃખ છે; કારણ કે તે કર્મથી ઉત્પન્ન થનાર છે, ક્ષણભંગુર છે, દુ:ખમિશ્રિત છે અને તુચ્છ છે ”—૪૨
ભાવા —સંસારપ્રપંચમાં વ્યવહારષ્ટિએ જે
સુખ ભાસે છે, તે અતિપ્રચંડ દુ:ખની સાથે સંબન્ધ રાખતું હાવાથી ગ્રાહ્ય નથી. નિશ્ચયદષ્ટિએ કના ઉદયથી ઉત્પન્ન થનારાં સુખા સુખજ નથી. પુણ્ય અને પાપ એ અને કમ છે અને અતએવ તે બન્ધન છે. એ અન્યના રહેતે ખરૂ સુખ હાઇ શકે નહિ.૧ એજ માટે વ્યાસ, પતંજલિ વગેરે મહાત્માઓએ સંસારમાં સુખને અભાવજ માન્યા છે. ગીતમ ઋષિએ પણ એકવીશ દુ:ખાની અંદર સુખ પણ ગણ્યું છે.
मुक्तिमहत्त्वं प्रकटयति
समस्तकर्मक्षयतोऽखिलार्थप्रकाशयुक्तं सुखमद्वितीयम् । यस्मिन् त्रिलोकीसुखमस्ति बिन्दुर्मुक्तौ क इच्छेन्नहि ?, को भवेद् દ્વિ ॥ ૪૨ ॥
Who will not long for the attainment of that unparalleled happiness which is the result of the destruction of all the Karmic forces and which illumines everything and before which the worldy pleasures are as nothing ? Who will disregard it ? ( 43 )
