અધ્યાત્મતત્વાક.
[ मlajअथ तृतीयं कर्तव्यं सदाचारमभिधतेलोकापवादाद् भयशीलता च मुदक्षिणत्वं च कृतज्ञता च । सर्वत्र निन्दापरिवर्जनं च सतां स्तवः प्रस्तुतयोग्यवाक्त्वम् ॥२१॥ कृतप्रतिज्ञापरिपालनं चासत्सद्ययत्यागविधानवत्त्वम् । नालस्यवश्यं पुनराग्रहश्च सुयोग्यकार्येषु विवेकबुद्धया ॥ २२ ॥ अदैन्यमापद्यपि, नम्रता च सम्पत्मकर्षे, महतां च मार्गे। समारुरुक्षार्जवमार्दवे च सन्तोषवृत्तिः सुविचारता च ॥ २३ ॥ लोकाविरुद्धाचरणानुवृत्तिः सर्वत्र चौचित्यविधायकत्वम् । एवंप्रकारः स्वयमूहनीयः सद्भिः सदाचार उदारबुद्धया ॥२४॥
चतुर्भिः कलापकम् । Fear of the public scandal, ever readiness to share others, burdens, gratefulness, abstention from speaking ill of others, the praising of the good, words few and necessary for the matter in hand, keeping of one's promise, refraining from wrongly spending
money, discarding of slothfulness, reasonable persistence in matters of importance, loftiness of mind even in poverty, politeness in prosperity, desire to follow in the footsteps of the great, straight-forwardness, gentleness, contentment, holy thoughts, general adherence to popular customs and aptitude for always doing the right thing at the right moment-these, the
" क्रोधलोभभयाक्रान्तं जगद् अस्माद् विलक्षणः । । न गोचरो मृदुधियां वीतरागः कथञ्चन " ॥
