- અધ્યાત્મતત્ત્વાલેક, When all their troubles end in that last sleep And of their earthly bodics nought remains But fleshless skeletons-can living men Mark difference between them or perceive Distinctions in that dust of birth or from ? Since all are, therefore levelled by the grave And all must sleep to gether in the earth Why, foolish mortals, do ye worng each other?

હે મહાભાગ ! વ્યર્થ શા માટે પારકાની ચિન્તાને હૃદયમાં સ્થાન આપે છે ? વ્યર્થ શા માટે પારકાના કામમાં ડાહ્યો થવા જાય છે ? અને વ્યર્થ શા માટે હૃદયમાં નાના પ્રકારના અસંબદ્ધ વિકલ્પોની જાળને ફેલાવતે છત, ધુમાડાના બાચકા ભરવા જેવું કરે છે ? ”–૮૭ दुर्वर्त्तनं हातुमुपदिशतिविभेषि दुःखाद् यदि साधुबुद्धे ! दुःखानुकूलां त्यज दुष्पवृत्तिम् । नेष्टो वियोगः सुखसम्पदश्चेत् चरित्रमापादय तर्हि शुद्धिम् ॥८८॥
(88). Oh, well behaved one, if you fear calamities abandon evil tendency which brings on them, if you can not bear the lo-s of wealth and happiness, then try to live a pure life.
