ન ટૂંઢતાં આટલું જ યાદ રાખવું બસ છે. વિવેકી મનુષ્યના હૃદયભવनभां ॥ २४२यने हमेशां स्थान भने हाय छे."-२२ मोहस्य परिणाममाहसंसारभोगा विविधा अनेन जीवेन भुत्ता बहुशो महान्तः। तथाप्यतृप्तो जडबुद्धिरेष तृप्त्यै नृभागेषु विचेष्टते ही ! ॥ २३ ॥
(23) The phenomenal Soul has enjoyed many times various kinds of worldly pleasures; still one is surprised to find this unsatiated fool, foverishly hankering after worldly enjoyments. Cf:—The more he drinks, the more he wants to drink, till at last he dies of drinking it.
Arabic Proverb, મેહનું પરિણામ–
આ પ્રાણીઓ અનેક પ્રકારના મોટા મોટા સાંસારિક ભેગો અનેકવાર ભગવ્યા છે, તે પણ તે મૂબુદ્ધિને તૃતિને અન્ન આવ્યું નથી, અને હવે મનુષ્યજિન્દગીના ભોગેમાંથી તૃપ્ત થવાને ફાંફાં મારી રહ્યો છે. કેવી मेहनी वात ? ".-२३ स्वर्गीयभोगेभ्योऽतृप्तस्य मनुष्यभोगेभ्यस्तृप्तिपूरणेच्छा कीदृशी ?रिक्तीकृतेऽप्यम्बुनिधौ निपीय तृषा न यस्योपशमं प्रयाता । तृणाग्रभागस्थितवारिबिन्दुपानेन तृप्तिं किमसौ लभेत ? ॥ २४ ॥
