AT THITUT, according to the nature of the seed. The statement made here, that the height of the Vața tree is the result of the peculiar property of the soil, but that the abundance of fruit is due to the peculiar property of the seed, is not a correct statement. Both the height and the abundance of fruit depend partly on the favourable nature of the soil and partly on the nature of the seed. Both the soil and the seed should be jointly responsible for the stature of the tree and abundance of its fruit. They cannot be separated as done in this stanza.
