This is written in two portions. The first portion gocs on up to.the 2nd Khanla, of the 2nd Adhyatya and compics/pages from fol. (4711), and the second portion contains the rest of the 2nd Adhyāya as well as the 3rd and 4th Adhyāyas in 20 pages from fol. 27b.
Begins on fol. 276 and 476 of the MS. described under No. 250.
As the MS. was copied from the one noticed under No. 247 in which the leaves were wrongly arranged, the work has been copied in different places irregularly and has become interspersed with other Upanisads.
The Saguna and Nirguņa forms of worship and the nature of the Supreme Being are described and explained. Beginning :
वाङ्मे मनसीति शान्तिः
चित्रो है ब गाायणिर्यक्ष्यमाण आरुणि वने । सह पुत्रं श्वेतकेत प्रजिघाय याजयेति तं हासीनं पप्रच्छ । गौतमस्य पुत्रास्ते संवतं लोके यस्मिन्नाधास्यस्य महो बोध्या लोके यास्यसीति । स होवाच नाहमेतद्वेद । हन्ताचार्य टच्छानीति स ह पितरमासाद्य पप्रच्छेति मा प्राक्षीय कथं बवाणीति स होवाचाहमप्येतं न वेद सदस्यैव वयं स्वाध्यायमधीत्य पासमहे यं नः पठेदोत्यसो गामियान्त्र इति
