This Upanişad describes the Dvaya-Mantra – PflHarTTORU शरणं प्रपद्ये श्रीमते नारायणाय नमः-and mentions the qualities to be possessed by the teacher and the pupil for the proper study of this Mantra. It is so called because it consists of two distinct sentences.
