He suffers trouble, who willfully acts without regard to justice or line of good work. The service of an absolute master is like licking the edge of a sword.
विना स्वधर्म न सुखं स्वधर्मो हि परं तपः । तपः स्वधर्मरूपं यत् वर्द्धितं येन वै सदा ॥
अपना फर्ज पूरा किए बगैर आराम नहि होता। अपना काम करना हि बडी तपस्या है। जिस से यह काम वा फर्ज की तपस्या रियाजत वढे वही हमेशा करो।
There is no ease without the discharge of one's duty. One's duty is his great piety or penince; one should do the penance in the shoo of ais duty, so that he should ever prosper.
न जात्या ब्राह्मणश्चात्र क्षत्रियो वैश्य एव न । न शूद्रो न च वै म्लेच्छो भेदिता गुणकर्मभिः ॥ ___ जन्म से न कोई ब्राह्मण, क्षत्री, वैश्य और न शूद्र और न मलेच्छ होता है। गुण वा लक्षण और काम वा पेशा से ये भेद वा फरक किए गए हैं।
Neither tho Brahmanit, Kshatriya, Vaishya, or even the Shudra, nor the outcraste is made by birth. Their distinction is made on the principle of qualifications and professions.
ब्रह्मणस्तु समुत्पन्नाः सर्वे ते किं नु ब्राह्मणाः । न वर्णतो न जनकाद् ब्राह्मतेजः प्रपद्यते ॥
अम से तो-सब पैदा हुए हैं तो फिर वे ब्राह्मण क्यों नहि हैं । ब्राह्म तेन अर्थात् ब्राह्मण पन रंग वा पैदायश से लहि मिलता है।
All people are born of the Bralıman (Supreme Being). Then why should they not all be Brahmana? The quality of beiug a Bruhım va is not got from colour or
birth.
