Two editions of the work running up to the end of the rāgaprakaraṇa were published respectively by J. Vidyasagara (Calcutta, 1884) and R. Chatterji in his Arunodaya (Calcutta, 1890 ?). Three more editions are referred to in BM, 1893, p. 7, 1908, p. 22.
The present MS has about five folia after the end of Rāga section (Fol. 27A). This portion has the following colophons :
fa ofa: (28B), gfa tauri, fa tactar, afa Wanaut (29A), xfa fayatuffo (31A), æfa arata
TUR (31A). It will be noticed that some of the topics mentioned in the above colophons are actually included in the list of contents of the work as given in its introductory portion.
57. - 1129. Sargātapārijāta. Substance, country-made paper. 94X44 inches. Folia, 35. Lines, 9, 10 on a page. Extent in slokas, 850. Character, Nāgara. Appearance, old. Incomplete.
The present MS runs up to the end of the Rāgaprakarana.

The present MS contains two sections of the work, e.g. those on Vādya and Tāla. The Vădya section which deals with various musical instruments comes to an end at fol. 9A (fa difesa argiz22:). The Tāla section comes to an end at fol. 22A, though the colophon refers to it as
