इह भगवान् शङ्कराचार्य उत्तमाधिकारिणां वेदान्तप्रस्थानत्रयं निर्माय तदवलोकनेऽसमर्थानां मन्दबुद्ध्वौनां अनुग्रहार्थं सर्ववेदान्तसिद्धान्तसंग्रहं यात्मबोधाख्यं प्रकरणं निर्दिदर्शयिषः प्रतिजानौतेतपोभिरिति। etc. etc.
