The 1st chapter is not in this manuscript. Of the 2nd chapter, the first leaf is missing. The 3rd and the 4th are complete.

Gaudapāda, who was Paramaguru to Śankarācārya, wrote kārikās to explain the doctrines of Māndukyopanişad. Sankarācārya wrote a commentary entitled व्यागमशास्त्रविवरण. Anandajñāna wrote a commentary on it. There are four chapters in this work, of which the 2nd is not to be found in this MS. The 1st chapter ends in line 47: Gaudapāda's 1st chapter ends after the 29th verse :
इति माण्डक्योपनिषद्याख्याने गौडयादभगवतः कृतौ ॐद्वार
निर्णये प्रथमं प्रकरणम् । - Sarkara’s commentary ends :
इति श्रीगोविन्दभगवत्यज्यपादशिष्यपरमहंसपरिव्राजकाचार्यशङ्करभगवतः कृतौ आगमशास्त्रविवरणप्रथमप्रकरणं माण्डक्यव्याख्यानं समाप्तम्।
